A friend of mine wrote this recently.
Doubt your doubts, not the love.
Instead of getting lost in the relationship, why not take a moment to find your self.
Find yourself laughing, enjoying, being in love, deeply in love, starting from the center of your being and spiraling outwards from your core...

I've read it a few times now, and on each occasion I seem to find more meaning and with it more challenge.

Damn. Yes, a lot of challenge and nuance within those words.
Thanks for sharing it. I'll read again to see what else strikes me. This time it is to find your self: two words, not one.
Yes, there is a lot there. How often do we "get lost in the relationship" and lose sight of our selves?
Lost. Yup, that's me. It's the finding of oneself after being hopelessly lost for so long that's the challenge.
Wise words from your friend, Apollo and very thought provoking.
I almost always get lost in my relationships, even friendships. But I'm working at it.
Today I like the part about having it start at the center and emanating from the core of my being.
NB and Kyra, yes I wonder why it's so easy lose such important things: our own "self"! Not everyone feels this loss, but I'm suspicious of people who aren't introspective enough to even think about it.
How beautiful.

Hi Cate. Yes, I still love it.
I love it for the pure simplicity it offers, embracing the joy of being in love. How many of us spend our time embracing the pain instead?
So true!
Thanks for sharing.
And thank you Krazy, always good to see you.
